RTU Foam A is a co-extruded combination of PETG Copolyester resin with a proprietary foamed core made from Eastmans RTU Foam A System. RTU Foam A offers advantages over traditional materials where low weight and sustainability are larger parts of an applications fitness for use requirements. PETG FOAM is a reliable, safe alternative to high impact polystyrene (HIPS) in the opaque rigid medical packaging market. PETG FOAM also shows considerable manufacturing improvements over HIPS in terms of processing, waste reduction, and reduced cleaning; all resulting in lower overall processing costs.

RTU Foam is a polyethylene foam material that is expanded in heat oven after extruded with the help of chemical inflators and cross linking agents that are put inside. It has advanced chemical and mechanical features thanks to its cross-linked structure Compared to DurProx (physically Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam) the cell structure is larger and the surface is not as smooth. It can be used in many areas that sound, heat, humidity insulation and shock protection is intended. It can be produced for different sectors as cut plate, roll, tube, extra-laminated or non-laminated.

RTU Foam C is a two-part, room-temperature, platinum-cure, self-blowing silicone foam designed for liquid dispensing. This product is ideal for potting in applications where lightweight and thermal protection are required. Its viscosity profile enables excellent flow around components, and it is excellent for potting complex parts. The chemical composition results in a cured product that is hydrolytically stable as well as reversion-resistant. The cured product provides electrical insulation and physical shock resistance for components and enables environmental protection.
